Can’t quite make out what make that beautiful car is…..
seems to be a bicycle in the way…….

Geoff Baker May 29, 2010 at 1:02 pm

The answer is……….. 1948 Humber Pullman Limousine.

Of course! Thank you Geoff. I believe that was the one without partition
in the cabin….. reliable and discreet chauffeur required with one of that
vintage then!

No, no, no!
The Pullman does have a glass dividing partition, see: http://www.motorbase.com/vehicle/by-id/1139 , for full spec. if you are really interested. Just a moment isn’t this a bicycle based website!!

Absolutely, Top Gear old chap!

The chap was driving a wedding couple to the Church and, spotting my bike, was quite happy to let me use the car as a ‘prop’ ! It is indeed a Humber.

Good spot Geoff !
