Well it really was a grand day out, and I’m still rather speechless. We are seriously indebted to the organisers, volunteers, marshalls and sponsors of the Tweed Run. We still have many hundreds of photos to sift through and a full ride report is coming later in the week. Plus even more faces to GOC members’ names…

In the meantime, much appreciation for these shots to The Cycling Photographer, a generous and talented gentleman we are lucky to have on board.

Great to meet you whilst cycling around on what was indeed a splendid day. Super photos, the saddle-mounted cider bottle is a win in my books!

James,

It was really nice to meet you at the Tweed Run 2010. Nick and I had a splendid time cycling with you and your fine Guv’nor. The Angel Ride is coming together and with a little over a month before we set off for the French Alp’s, I’m riding my Guv’nor just about every day. It really feels like a part of me at the moment. Our 700 mile journey on the Guv’nors is going to be an amazing experience and we look forward to keeping you up to date with our journey. http://www.angelride.org.uk/

Great images, they capture the feel of the day perfectly.
A particularly fine looking gentleman in the top-right of the first set too.

Fantastic to meet you all too. A truly brilliant day, perfectly captured by Mark. Some more humble snaps to follow through the week…

Does look like a fine day. Shame I was out of the country or I’d have popped along for a while.
