HI ALL GUV’BUGS, RECENTLY PURCHASED A 20.5″ SINGLE SPEED AND WOULD LOVE TO JOIN THE NEW GUVNOR OWNERS CLUB- THAT IS – IF YOU’LL HAVE ME ! I’VE COMMITTED A FEW MORTAL SINS WITH MY GOV’NOR! FIRST, I INSTALLED A LED LIGHT ON THE SEAT POST (AS I DO A GREAT DEAL OF NIGHT RIDING AND GETTING RUN OVER BY A DRUNK DRIVER DOESN’T APPEAL TO ME!) AND, I ALSO INSTALLED A KICK STAND! (BECAUSE THE THOUGHT OF “LEANING” THIS BEAUTIFUL BIKE AGAINST A POLE APPEALS TO ME LESS THAN THE THOUGH OF DRUNK DRIVERS!!!) AS TO A HEADLIGHT, I USE AN ACTUAL “HEADLIGHT” A LED LIGHT THAT IS ON A ELASTIC BAND THAT GOES ROUND MY FAT HEAD (BUT, YA KNOW WHAT?, AS MY HEAD TURNS ,SO DOES MY HEADLIGHT!) YOUR THOUGHT’S…….JIM

Jim, welcome, broke your caps lock?! Am a big fan of kick stands myself…and of staying safe on a bicycle. Sometimes we have to make practical decisions.
