The Leather Porteur

Design and pricing sketch

Parts acquired, ready for craftsmanship

After significant time and effort, an incredible reward

The rack. The light. The brake lever. The handlebar diamond. The leather.

Astonishing details everywhere

Fill with water or Armagnac, the choice is yours.

More amazing pictures and full details at Ateliers d’Embellie, whom we must thank for kind permission to reproduce these images.

And an appreciative nod to The Cycling Photographer for the heads up.

Thank you Ian, some lovely extra photos on there with insight to the process. An inspiration.

Beautiful. Inspirational. Wouldn’t mind having a go at this myself. Mentioned this to the Memsaab. Since then she has been hiding all here coveted handbags and leather accoutrements after I was spotted with scissors and measuring tape in her dressing room!
Ride on!

I love that look, especially with the torch holder on the front rack that you see on some.
