Dear Mr.Wheeler,

Do you happen to still have a pair of these wonderful wing nuts to spare? I find myself very intrested in purchasing one as I now have a proper bicycle to install them on!

Warm regards,

Miikka

As an interesting twist to my Guv’nor purchase, I received the front wing nuts today.  This is one day ahead of the estimated time of delivery of the bike itself.  When I ordered my bike from Loring Kohrt (The U.S.A. Pashley distributor) I asked him about the wing nuts as they were listed as an option on the Pashley brochure.  He said he would include a pair of wing nuts for free, and sent them packaged separately.  Now I’m sitting here looking at my new wing nuts and waiting for the bike to put them on.  Am I the first Guv’nor owner to get his nuts first?  Smile

Mr. Wheeler,

I received the wing nuts today and have already fitted them on my Guv’nor. Many thanks for quick delivery, the wing nuts look superb! Also, I was very delighted to find the envelope decorated with the picture of the (hopefully) upcoming GOC frame decal.

As a rather eerie detail the wing nuts were taped onto the backside of a piece of paper that appeared to have something to do with funeral services. I trust this was meant to be a hint to remember to check the wing nut security always before a ride!

As this forum already has probably more photos of wing nuts than Guv’nors themselves, I really struggled to find a new angle for my vitally important contribution on the said subject. I leave it to you, Gentlemen, to decide how i fared.

Regards,

Miikka
