One & All,

It was good to meet Adam, Eric (Fenrir), Mark (TCP), & Martin, be it all too briefly, in Paternoster Square last Saturday.

I doff my cap to the Tweed Run Marshalls; to usher 500 cyclists though central London on a busy Saturday afternoon must take some doing — well done.

One interesting Guv’nor I spied in St James’s Square was a 24.5″ frame fitted with a Sachs Duomatic hub and taped handle bars, à la Plus Four, it transpired the rider was Tom Morris of Bobbins Bicycles and the Guv’nor was a special one off made for him by Pashley, a cycle trade bonus!

Anyway, I hope you all made it home safely if a little weary, but with many memories of a grand day out.

Safe rides, DW.

Afternoon Gentlemen,

Please excuse my tardy update, but I’ve finally organised my photos from the day.

Possibly the only available photograph of a man that usualy lives the other side of a lens, Mr. Cycling Photographer

And Mr. Fenrir,

And Mrs. Adam

I put my camera away a little early and failed to take pictures of the other Club Members and riders.

Here’s a link to the good old Flickr photos

Mr Adam, if you were in my company this afternoon then you would surely witness me rising to my feet and applauding your fine photographic account of the wonder that is the Tweed Run. Bravo!

Kind regards,

Martin
