Seems as though its coming in April, at least the site has that month announced.

Time to keep and eye out for the registration date, and a club meet up? Who knows, our shadowy leader may even be glimpsed.….….…..

CP, are you likely to be doing the photographs again?

All being well, certainly. Suggest those that are lucky getting registered keep in touch
so a ‘peloton’ can be formed, hopefully not ‘sans’ our founder.
Where the devil is the chap?!
One would love to be able to share the admin but cannot due to the keys not being available!
Ride on!

Evening Gentlemen,

Hopefully Mrs Adam and I will be attending again this year, I fear it maybe a bit of a melee trying to get a place or two.

Regards,

Adam

Dear all, thought I had replied to this but seem to have been excised by the system.

Anyway, keep an eye on lfgss.com for the latest news on the Tweed Run, and I will duly report back anything I hear. I will be there hook or crook!

Nice one A. Just got to try for spaces now.

Oh, and I see the 2011 poster has a bit of Guvnor action going.

One & All,

Just a quick ‘heads-up’ that the Tweed Run are going to be offering for auction on eBay a one off, “Special Tweed Run Edition Pashley Clubman”, which will be finished in black and ivory with hand lined gold lug detailing. All proceeds to the charity — bikes4africa.

More details and pictures on Tweed Run website, safe rides, DW.

Looking good at the moment, but I wonder how much it’s going to go for?

Evening Gentlemen,

Do they happen to mention which Tweed Run they are hoping to get it completed for?

Picked up my registration pack yesterday, all pretty standard fare. Nice bag, but the shoulder strap is pretty long and not much good if riding.

Interesting route, moving broadly east-west-east. Was hoping for a Chelsea start for selfish reasons, as thats closer for me to travel. Start point is at St Pauls.

Anyone heading over from a South West London area?

One & All,

With a bit of ducking and diving Mrs. DW and I have managed to book train and hotel for London next weekend.

So do any of you lucky fellows who have secured a place on the Run have a more detailed itinery on locations and times to add to those posted on the Tweed Run website, “good places to spectate along the route”? Thank you.

Safe rides, DW.

Good afternoon Mr Wheeler,

Splendid news, it will be a pleasure to hopefully make your acquaintance in person next Saturday. Apart from the link you must have come across ( http://tweedrun.com/?p=658 ) regarding ideal spectating locations, there is now a detailed map of the route available in the riders section. I shall send you a PDF via private message forthwith.

News just in from Teddy that we shall be meeting at Paternoster Square (next to St Paul’s) from 10am, with a view to setting off at 11:45am.

Here’s to clement weather on The Glorious 9th!

Kind regards,

Martin

Morning all,

I’m probably going to skip the “after ride drinks/party” thing (not the finish line though) and scuttle up to a pub in Camden to see a band. Anyone wants to join, feel free.

The band knows to look out for tweedy types.….….…

One & All,

Oh well, I won’t be picking up the Tweed Run Pashley Clubman on Saturday! £2649.99 winning bid, well done e***d (0) and bikes4Africa.

However, I am looking forward to meeting up with you fellows, before the off, in Paternoster Square.

Safe rides, DW.

Gentlemen,

I aim to spectate tomorrow, and will keep an eye out for any dapper looking gents on Guv’nors. I will try and take some pictures of the throng too.

Hopefully see some of you tomorrow!

Tally-ho!
