Afternoon Gentlemen,

Unfortunately I’ve had no response from James, in his absence assuming no-one objects or has a burning desire to pull the ride together I’ll try and pull this event together into some sort of tangible entity. As is always the case we won’t be able to please all of the people all of the time but I’ll try and do this as democratically as possible.

I appreciate some people may be traveling a reasonable distance so I’m going to include an option for an overnight stop and a short ride the following day before people set off home.

I’ve listed the locations mentioned in the other thread and also added Ashbourne if you could put you name against your preferance(s) by copying the list and any replies/notes to date I’ll have a count up at the end of the first week in May.

I’m sure a little press coverage from the local Stratford paper, radio etc could

be arranged as this will be the first ever event for the bicycle range made in their

home town. Just seems right, really.

Evening Gentlemen,

A bit of tidying up to do.

Rest assured Mr. Wheeler this is very much a leisurely spin we shall be setting off en mass and returning in the same manner.

I’m basing this on an attrition rate of 10 — 20 per cent allowing for wrong directions, missed turnings, a pint too many for lunch etc.
