Hello,

I love the look of the Guvnor.  That being I’m not able to test ride one where I live (Houston, Texas) prior to purchase and am somewhat concerned that the ride might not suit me and thus might opt for a Pashley Sovereign over the Guvnor.  It looks as if one might suffer undue stress on one’s, ahem, prostate area?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lance

Sir, I find my Guv’nor a very comfortable cycle to ride, more so, in fact than some of the other road bikes/mountain bikes that I ride.

Taking care to set up any bicycle properly i.e. seat height and position on the post, handlebar height and position in the stem, is very rewarding and worthwhile. The cycle shop will be able to assist you with this as will the many “how to” videos on Youtube.

The Guv’nor’s Brooks’ saddle, although looking rather uncomfortable, is a splendid perch from which to veiw the World.

Ride on!

p.s.….……Lance?  Texas?  your surname would’nt be Armstrong by any chance, would it?

We are not worthy.
