Despite having to hobble home on a rapidly deflating tyre, I did have the thrill of encountering my first other guvnor on my ride around Oxford — and a plus four at that. Goodness me — it looks even better in the metal! A truly glorious thing

unfortunately I hadnt noticed the problem at that point. I am most grateful for the advice from DW et al about tyre pressures. I had always assumed the opposite! 65psi it shall be from now on
