My trousers are getting tighter due to lack of Guvonr riding.

I believe there is one co member near me in the Cotswolds. Is there another, or more?

You chaps ‘oop north’ seem to be having all of the fun! It’s time the North-South Divide

was well and truly bridged.

Hello. Hello. Is there anybody out there?”.

(Yes OK, I’m smarting at missing the fun in Stratford! The only factors to smooth the

angst was A. my fee for working, and B. my clients enjoyment, and the plentyful sharing

of Very fine wines from South East France).

Afternoon Sir,

What a pity to see Guvnor riders falling to national stereotypes, the Northern Chapter, friendly, gregarious and generally sociable where as the Southern Chapter are, well altogether more Southern.

To remedy the problem my I suggest you sell up your country pile, move you customer base, family and friends up North and enjoy some old fashioned hospitality.

Regards,

Adam

Good day Gents,

I am the delighted owner of a 3 speed 22.5 Guv’nor in Bristol. Another lucky owner picked up their 20.5 version from the store a few days before me, so there are at least 2 of us in this part of the world.

I for one am treating our “cycling city” to the delights of the Guv’nor and true gentleman’s cycling chic. I think it is time for the South to show our spirit and give our northern colleagues a friendly run for their money.

What ho Daveca,

Good news for us “southerner’s” then , try and track down the other owner because 1 Guv is a site to behold but 2 or more will draw a crowd and get people talking !!

What, everything? The night I came home from Pongo Twistleton’s birthday party and mistook the standing lamp for a burglar?

Really MGcC sir, Martinis?

I may reside in the South these days but being a Guv’nor owner then clearly I have better taste!

A Bath Ales “Gem” is the ticket, especially as their brewery is on the Bristol-Bath cycle path. They support cycling too.

I have no link to this company; just love cycling and decent ales so just the ticket!

Alas Hendricks Gin is not close…

Safe rides all!

Gem, fine ale! Sir well done on your choice of cycle, even though multi cogged. Having said

Ride on!

Why Gentlemen, thank you all!

This camaraderie and welcome is as refreshing to the soul as the Guv’nor is.

I think I am going to like it here.

For the joy of cycling.

By the way — not the best picture yet and the woodies are not to everyone’s taste (nor the cogs) but here is my Guv’

Hello David,

Welcome to a most splendid cycling club. Your new machine looks spiffing with it’s beautiful woodies. I don’t normally like the look of mudguards on bicycles but your woodies look spot on with the Guv.

Wishing you many happy miles.

Your welcome is really outstanding Gents. Thank you.

Here are some more pictures of my Guv’nor which I thought you would appreciate as they are taken against an interesting backdrop at my work. This entrance corridor has been detailed with some wonderful images that I thought appropriate.
