Evening Gentlemen,

Mrs Adam and I were having a jaunt on the Manchester Skyride today, no photographs I’m afraid a combination of rain and cloak again.

While Mrs Adam had managed to find a clothes shop in the middle of Castlefield arena I was approached by a chap who told me of his intention to organise a “Manchester Tweed Ride” on the 21st August taking in the sites in and around Manchester.

The details can be found at http://www.tweedride.co.uk, it all seems very much “up in the air” at the moment, sounds wonderful.

Regards,

Adam

Good morning Gentlemen,

The Manchester Tweed Ride does indeed sound wonderful Mr Adam, I’d be there like a shot if I wasn’t engaged in other activities on that day. A real shame.

While we’re on the subject of the fine woollen weave, I happened across this photograph on the Harris Tweed Ride Facebook page.

The event was held in Glasgow yesterday, and it appears a fellow Guvnor owner took part in the proceedings– well done that chap!

Kind regards,

Martin

Afternoon Gentlemen,

I must say I am heartened by the groundswell of rides organised as a social amble instead of an all out Chain Gang. Not that I’m against any form of riding, but anything that gets people on bikes has got to be good.

Hopefully I’ll be able to participate in the ride, Mrs Adam and I have a pre-wedding meal to attend on the Saturday.

Regards,

Adam
