6pm and all was to end. Judgement Day, (Judgment for Americans.…..), came and went.…. again.

I wasn’t ‘Raptured’ but was ruptured due to lugging the barrel of ale to welcome “The END”.

The Guvnor was buried ceremoniously and the other half ‘seen to’ for the last time.….…

Yeah, right!

What an amazing deception religion is.

Business as usual chaps.

Ride on!

My Religion is the bicycle.… my church the open road… and yes my judgement day is tomorow, I’m riding the Midland Monster sportive (only the short route… 76miles !!!… and as its a little on the “hilly” side, I’m using the carbon steed)

… so give a little prayer in the morning, I think I will be needing it

Eveing Gentlemen,

Looks up from laptop, I can confirm I also still appear to be here. Having said that Mrs Adam is out and about perfoming her domestic duties and I am the only living being I can see.

My word! T.C.P and I could be the first of the new beginning, and I’m called Adam which means that T.C.P is my…

Maybe the new beginning won’t last too long?

Regards,

Adam

If Carlsberg did Judgement Days.….…

Thanks to them, my World came to an abrupt end at approx. 11:45pm last night.

The new version, let’s call it The Blurred World, is outside the window though. Ho hum.

Best of luck with the ride, MGCC.

Thank you MrTerry… Well I did 73 miles in 4:13hrs/mins, average speed 17.3mph I think (my computer decided to go all excited on me !!!, Im sure the reason being my event number was 382 (3+8+2=13 !!!))… I’ll be glad when all this racing about is done for the season and I can get back to riding at a more sensible gentlemen pace on a real steel bicycle instead of these crazy plastic ones !

Well done Mr MGCC, I managed 62 miles in 3:30 on the Acorn 100k yesterday. Mainly due to the fact that I managed to tag along with a team from a local cycle shop for the first 40 miles or so. The rotters cleared off while I took a “prostate break” so the last twenty-odd miles were a solo effort into a stiff westerly. Hard going indeed.

I too am looking forward to a few rather more leisurely rides on the Guv’nor.

Good ride Sir.… it was going lovely for myself as well, until we reached the bottom of the Peaks… then it all went horribly horribly painful.…(and slow)
