I will be attired resplendant in the new jersey — it certainly won’t make me ride any better!
It looks like Booster Junior is joining us on his Grandad’s 1930’s genuine path racer — it is a fixed wheel bicycle so we should be able to drop him on the descents! Have to always have an element of one upmanship on these young upstarts!
Getting a bit of training in as me and the young Booster may give the route a once over this Sunday followed by the Manchester to Blackpool Night Ride on the 17th September — should be a hoot!
Mr Adam and Mr Irobot — takers?

PS Going on Tissington Trail again next Thursday — if anyone is at a loss what to do on that day then perhaps you could join us.
If your Guv is a single freewheel then I guess all you have to do to convert it to a fixie is to obtain a fixed sprocket and locking ring and fit that.
I am not sure if you could fit a fixed sprocket to a 3 speed but if you could then technically you could have a 3 speed fixie! Now there’s something a bit novel!
A fine woollen garment, Mr Wertie. May I put forward the proposition of your good self taking the helm of the GOC peloton at the forthcoming Giro d’Stokio as ambassador? There is no ulterior motive, I assure you… nothing to do with riding in your tail wind…
(chortle) Ah, yes… of course it is! Do forgive my lack of in depth knowledge regarding seafairing ways, Mr Wertie. Myself? I’m still incapacitated, I’m afraid… I haven’t been in the saddle for what seems like an age. “Old Crocks CC” has a nice ring to it. Sign me up.
Mr Irobot — you are absolutely right — there are discounts for multiple orders — I was wondering whether there may be a few takers for a similar jersey in which case I would be happy to furnish the details
