Your thoughts please: I carry a substantial Abus D-Lock on my Guv, mounted on a hideous bracket on the seat tube. There must be another way? I bought a leather ‘cinch’ (a means of strapping stuff to your bike) from Walnutstudiolo, which, though lovely to behold, does not stop my D-Lock from swinging around when held horizontally from the top tube. I tried to hang it vertically (lock end uppermost) from the top tube but this fouled the chain ring. I am thinking of a shorter D-Lock mounted thus. Does anybody have any other ideas?
I got the Pashley leather bag that mounts to the brooks & a fold-up lock. It fits the lock wallet & keys just right! Was not cheap but worth it, Hand made in the UK.
