What steps do I now take to get my poor Pashley a new fork.

I own a 24.5″  3-speed Guv’nor.

I had bent the fork riding foolishly. Jumping a curb at a good rate of speed.

Not only is the fork raked out even more, I managed to do a number on the fork blades

as well.

I had sent an inquiry via the Pashley website, but it’s been almost a week now

with no response.

I had also tried calling Pashley today but I only made it to a voicemail.

I did’nt leave a message as I doubt they would be returning oversea calls.I’m over in Wisconsin,USA.

Should I try going with a Pashley dealer here in the States?

Perhaps they would have a more direct line to Pashley?

Afternoon Mr SevetyThree,

Curb hopping on a Guv, it could only end in tears

I wouldn’t be too concerned about the lack of response from Pashley at the moment, due to one reason and another we’ve had several bank holidays back to back.

Having said that, when I have previously raised a query with Pashley regarding replacement bars they directed me through my local Pashley dealer.

If you have any problems I’m sure I can source some in the UK via my LBS and we can sort something out.

Regards,

Adam

Thanks for the offer Adam.

I’m going to call a Pashley dealer in Chicago and

see what they can do.

Afraid to say that I do this all of the time. Especially when heading into work and I have to reach the carpark keypad

Update:

I contacted the dealer in Chicago and they came through for me.

Boulevard Bikes in Chicago,IL.

Cost was $100 , I was actually expecting it to be a bit more.

I’ve learned my lesson.

I leave the “urban freeriding” to my Vassago Jabberwocky(29er), and treat the Pash

with a bit more respect.

Gentlemen, in case you were wondering what type of creature the above mentioned “Vassago Jabberwocky 29er” was, there’s a specimen over on http://www.cycleexif.com at the moment.
