Gentlemen… I had a similar email, damn shame its the same weekend as the Tour of Britain “Stokio Trentino” event !!! otherwise I would seriously have considered that one, looks an interesting London route

Sorry I didn’t notice the date.

Mr Fenrir, a few stiff rides and you’ll be in fine fettle for the event. Picture the Guvnor at Herne Hill Velodrome with you astride your velo, you’ll be on the final leg of the torch run before you know it.

Aha! Yes, of course. ‘Tis the same day as Giro d’Stokio. Silly me. Still, perhaps there will be a similar jaunt come the spring. Herne Hill? Marvellous.
